Huijsen signed for Bournemouth from Juventus, last summer, in a deal reported to be worth around £12million. The 20-year-old appears increasingly likely to leave the Vitality Stadium this summer, where a £50million release clause will become active.

According to Spanish news outlet Relevo, Huijsen is expected to take his time with the decision on his next move. The report claims that remaining in the Premier League seems the most likely for the defender, which would give a welcome boost to Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs.

Real Madrid are reported to still be interested in signing Huijsen, but are unsure whether or not to make a swoop for him this summer. As a result, it has been suggested that - if Huijsen was to leave Bournemouth - it would be to join another Premier League side.

Arsenal have William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu as their centre-back options, while Ben White, Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori have also been used in the position this season.

Chelsea have Levi Colwill, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana as the centre-backs at Enzo Maresca's disposal - as things stand.

As for Tottenham, meanwhile, they will be without Radu Dragusin until later this year through injury, but still have Cristian Romero, Kevin Danso, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies as centre-back options in their squad.
