UPPRPB UP Police SI 2025: According to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), more than 15.7 lakh candidates have applied for the posts of Sub-Inspector and equivalent posts. According to official figures, the board received a total of 15,72,261 applications, while the number increased to 15,75,760 after the last date for amendment and fee payment was completed on September 15.
UP Police will fill a total of 4,543 Sub-Inspector posts through this recruitment process. The application link was active till September 11, and registered candidates were given the facility to amend their applications till September 15.
The board said that the date of the written examination will be announced four weeks in advance. The selection process includes a written examination, document verification, and physical standard test (PST). Candidates will be called for document verification and PST based on the marks obtained in the written examination and the number of vacancies.
There will be competition between around 346 candidates for one post. The last date for fee payment is 15th September. The recruitment board has received a total of 15,75,760 applications for 4,543 posts. According to this, around 346 candidates will be in competition for one post.
