IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2025: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Southern Region has released a recruitment notification for 64 Hospitality Monitor positions in 2025. This recruitment is contract-based, and eligible candidates can apply through walk-in interviews at designated institutions in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka from November 8 to November 18, 2025.
Who can apply?
Candidates for the IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2025 must possess a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, a B.B.A./M.B.A. (from the Indian Culinary Institute), a B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science, or an M.B.A. (Tourism and Hotel Management) from a recognized university or institute. All degrees must be recognized by the UGC or AICTE.
In addition, candidates must have at least two years of experience in the field of hospitality or hotel management. This qualification ensures that they are prepared and experienced for the job.
Age Limit
Candidates for the IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2025 must not exceed the upper age limit as of October 1, 2025. The upper age limit is 28 years for the General category, 33 years for SC/ST, 31 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 38 years for candidates with disabilities.
Selection Process
The selection process for the IRCTC Hospitality Monitor position includes document verification and a personal interview during a walk-in interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and performance in the interview.
Eligible candidates will be offered an appointment, while the next 64 candidates will be placed on a reserved panel. A medical fitness test is mandatory for selected candidates.
Salary
The IRCTC Hospitality Monitor position is contractual and carries a monthly salary of ₹30,000. Apart from this, the candidates will also get several allowances like a daily allowance of Rs 350 for duty in trains, accommodation charges for night stay outside Rs 240, allowance on national holidays of Rs 384 per day, and medical insurance of Rs 1,400 to Rs 2,000 per month.
