Maiya Samman Yojana | Sunil Kumar Jha, Ranchi: In Jharkhand, about 15 to 17 thousand beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana are completing the maximum age limit prescribed to avail the benefits of the scheme every month. In such a situation, a big update has come about them. It is known that under this scheme, the state government gives Rs 2500 per month to women between 18 and 50 years.
Who is being excluded from the scheme
The names of the beneficiaries of the Maiya Yojana are uploaded on the MMMSY portal. In this, the date of birth of the beneficiaries along with other necessary information has been uploaded. Age verification is done through the portal every month at the district level. About 15 to 17 thousand beneficiaries are getting out of the scheme after completing the age limit of 50 years.
These people get the benefit
It is necessary to know that to take advantage of the scheme, it is necessary that the woman is a resident of Jharkhand and the age of the woman should be between 18 to 50 years. They should have a single bank account linked to Aadhaar and voter ID card and Aadhaar card. The applicant's family should be a ration card holder under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana of Jharkhand state. Mainiya Samman Yojana was started in the state last year. Under this, initially one thousand rupees per month were given to women. The state government later increased it to Rs 2500 per month.
Will be shifted to Sarvajan Pension Yojana
However, women who are getting out of Mainiya Yojana after completing the age limit of 50 years. They will get the benefit of Sarvajan Pension. For this, the beneficiary will have to submit an application for Sarvajan Pension. Under this, the beneficiary gets one thousand rupees per month. Sarvajan Pension Yojana is run by the state government.
Order to distribute the amount for the month of June
The amount for the month of May under the Mainiya Samman Yojana has been made available to the beneficiaries. In May, about 51.10 lakh women were given the amount. The Directorate of Social Security has given the order to the districts to distribute the amount for the month of June. Its process has also been started at the district level.
The amount for the month of June will be made available to the beneficiaries by the end of next week. Here, the state government has allocated the amount till November for the Mainiya Yojana. The amount has been made available to the districts. Districts have been given 96 billion nine crore rupees for this.
