1. Sindoor and good luck items
On this day, married women should donate good luck items like sindoor, bindi, bangles, toe rings, anklets, a comb, and kajal. It is believed that donating these items strengthens married life and maintains love in relationships.
2. Makeup items
Women love makeup, so donating red chunari, mehndi, alta, and glass bangles on Teej is considered auspicious. Donating these items pleases Goddess Parvati and blesses the couple with happiness and prosperity in their lives.
3. Betel nut and betel leaves
Betel leaves and betel nuts are considered auspicious items. Donating them on Teej increases sweetness in relationships and maintains harmony in married life.
4. Clothes and fruits
Donating clothes and seasonal fruits to the needy is also very auspicious. Especially donating green clothes or green chunari increases the virtue of the Teej fast manifold.
5. Food items and grains
Donating things like wheat, rice, pulses, and sweets is called "Annadan". It is considered the biggest donation. Annadan never causes shortage of food and money in the house.

6. Puja material
Donating puja material like incense, lamp, camphor, coconut and Kalash on Teej day brings virtue and deepens devotion towards God.
7. Cow donation and clothes donation
If possible, feeding fodder to a cow or donating a cow is also considered very fruitful on this day. Apart from this, donating clothes to Brahmins and the needy leads to unbroken good fortune.
