Anurag Basu hosted the music launch event of his upcoming film 'Metro In Dino' in Mumbai on Wednesday. Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh from the film's star cast were present on this occasion. Music composer Pritam also attended the event.

At the event, Konkona Sen also talked about Irrfan Khan, who was her co-star in the last film 'Life in a Metro'. She said, 'Irrfan can never be forgotten'. Anurag Basu said, 'We shot a scene with Konkana, which was a little similar to the old film. At that time, we remembered Irrfan very much and we started crying in the middle of the shooting'.

While talking about the music of the film at the event, Pritam said, 'There are a total of 12 songs in the film. We have presented Shayari in a modern style in the songs. The writing is done in the form of Ghazal. There are couplets of Ghalib which we have presented differently. Some old Ghazals have been presented in a new way and some new Ghazals have also been added.'

In such a situation, I was ready to do this film even by paying money. Anurag Basu said, 'Everyone has a different favorite song. Both Pritam and I don't know how to put a full stop, it is very funny. I like trains and rain a lot. These two aspects are seen in my films, but now things have changed. Something different will be seen in this film.
