He said that he is very impressed with the strong story of the film and the brilliant acting of Hrithik Roshan and NTR. Ayan has shared some pictures on Instagram which are from the sets of the film and wrote in the caption, 'Exciting time.. A few days ago the teaser of our film was released and now only 12 weeks are left for the film to come in theaters. This is the right time to share some things from my heart with all of you.'

Ayan Mukerji further wrote, 'Our film has a lot for the audience. But today I want to draw attention to the thing that inspires me the most in this film. The most special thing about this film is its strong story. When I heard its script for the first time, I was surprised. Bringing this story to the screen has been very exciting and challenging for me.'

Ayan Mukerji further said, 'As we are getting so much love for the first glimpse of the film, my curiosity is increasing that people should see and feel the real story of this film themselves. I think this film will show a new and interesting story of the spy universe, which is something different and special from before.' Ayan continued his statement in the caption and said, 'This is the first time I am officially saying something about directing 'War 2'.
