UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has made available the choice filling and locking window for the first round of counselling for the state NEET UG 2025 today, July 31. The eligible candidates can choose their desired MBBS and BDS courses and colleges up to 2 PM on August 4 on the official website at upneet.gov.in.
The seat allotment result will be announced on August 5, depending on the candidate's NEET score, preferred options, reservation rules, and availability of seats. Candidates are required to download their allotment letters and finish admission procedures within one of two given time slots, either August 6–9 or August 11–14. Failing to meet the deadline of admission will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
Earlier, the DGME published the state merit list for UP NEET UG 2025 comprising 30,699 successful applicants. Only those who have successfully completed registration, paid the security amount, and confirmed their documents can be a part of this counselling round.

The unoccupied seats in one phase will be forwarded to the subsequent. Candidates must note that admissions in MBBS and BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh will be based only on the NEET score since there will be no separate state-level entrance test.
The counselling is for 85% of the state quota seats, and the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) will be handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
