Dularchand murder case: FIR against Anant Singh and two of his men, case also filed against Piyush Priyadarshi's supporters

Dularchand Yadav Murder Case: Following this murder, the police are in action mode. It has been stated that the cause of the incident will be revealed through the post-mortem report and analysis of CCTV footage.

An FIR has been filed in connection with the murder of Jan Suraj Party supporter Dularchand Yadav, which occurred on Thursday (October 30, 2025) in the Tal area of Mokama. Based on the statement of Dularchand Yadav's grandson, a murder case has been filed against Anant Singh and two of his supporters at the Bhadaur police station in Mokama. Additionally, a murder case has been filed against dozens of unidentified individuals.

Anant Singh also filed an FIR.

JDU candidate and Mokama strongman Anant Singh has also filed an FIR in this matter. He has filed this case against supporters of Mokama's Jan Suraj Party candidate Piyush Priyadarshi. Five individuals, including Lakhan Mahato and Bajo Mahato, are named in the complaint. The complaint alleges a murderous attack on Anant Singh and his supporters. 

This means that both sides have filed police complaints regarding this murder. Earlier, last Thursday, Anant Singh had said that Suraj Bhan Singh was behind the conspiracy. It's worth noting that in Mokama, two powerful people are contesting the election this time. Anant Singh is contesting on the JDU ticket, while Suraj Bhan Singh's wife, Veena Devi, is contesting on an RJD ticket. Amidst this election atmosphere, Dular Chand Yadav's murder has created a different atmosphere in the area. 

What has the police said?

Following this murder, the police are in action. An investigation has been launched. A press release issued by the police last Thursday night stated that Dularchand Yadav (about 75 years old) had several criminal cases registered against him, including murder. He was a resident of Tartar, under the Ghoswari police station. The release described Dularchand Yadav's death as suspicious. It stated that the post-mortem report and analysis of CCTV footage will reveal the cause of the incident. Law and order are normal.
