He mentioned that his primary concern during the auction was that Punjab Kings might purchase him, considering the team had the highest purse of ₹112 crore. The post claimed that Zinta had exposed Pant’s comment, saying, "Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer were both options for us. We could have picked them, but we opted for a big performer, not just a big name... so we went with Shreyas Iyer."
