BBC EastEnders' Nicola Mitchell's downfall sealed after Teddy drops bombshell

Harry had previously faced accusations of killing Shireen, while her brother Asad later stated that he no longer believed Harry was responsible and instead, turned his gaze towards Teddy during a heated clash. But following Asad's exit, fans were later left stunned when the truth was revealed.

That place was a disused industrial estate in Dartford – Paradise Park. Unbeknownst to Nicola, her partner Teddy has been planning to convert the abandoned estate into a luxury apartment complex. During Easter Monday's episode, Nicola was happily going about her day, not knowing Teddy's plans.

Teddy, however, had faced a set back after Junior Carter revealed he was heading to Dubai to see his son. This is when Ross Marshall, Vicki Fowler's boyfriend revealed he was a builder and was looking for work after deciding to stay in Walford following the funeral of Martin Fowler.

Despite Nicola initially being frustrated that Teddy was returning to their Dartford roots, she soon came around and was seen outside the cafe opening a bottle of champagne to celebrate Ross joining the team in order for the build to go ahead.

"Look, the plan is to turn a Dartford dirt box into a luxury apartment complex," said Teddy, before adding: "Here, have a gander at... Paradise Park." A stunned Nicola asks: "Paradise Park?" as her facial expression revealed her anxiety over the area. F

Fans have since taken to social media to share their views after the dramatic revelation. "Oh stop being so aggressive , you Killer Nicola. #," said one. A second added: "Not quite sure how Nicola thinks someone besides Teddy getting the Paradise Park project helps her. #EastEnders."

A third tweeted: "I really hope the writers bring back Asad at some point (Shireen's brother who appeared a few weeks back). There could be a potential storyline there with Harry and he could work with Harry at the Arches too. It also adds depth to the Shireen arc of Nicola's story. #EastEnders."

"I am looking forward to it all unfolding but hope it doesn't take forever," wrote another. Another asked: "When will it catch up to her EastEnders cause I'm pretty annoyed and bored of her." One fan fumed: "She buried a woman there.and her past is going to catch up with her."
