Donald Trump's announcement at the Oval Office this evening has sparked fresh health fears as viewers were quick to spot a discolouration on his hand.
One eagle-eyed social media user took to X sharing a screenshot from the announcement, saying: "Trump's hands are visibly 2 different colors today." It comes amid a storm of speculation over the US President's health. Trump's brief disappearance from the public eye triggered a wave of online rumours that he was seriously ill - and even false claims that he had died. And despite being pictured at one of his golf courses on Sunday, the sighting did little to silence the frenzy on social media.
After a 45 minute delay to his announcement at the White House today, Trump revealed US Space Command HQ will be moving to 'Rocket City' in Huntsville, Alabama.

He said the move will create 30,000 jobs and billions of dollars worth of investment in the city. Taking questions from reporters, Trump said experts had recommended Huntsville as a prime location for US Space Command, adding that Alabama's congressional delegation "fought" for him to relocate it to their state.
"They fought harder for it than anybody else," he said. "They spoke to me a lot. That's all they wanted to talk about."

Trump then claimed he had heard nothing about a viral "TRUMPISDEAD" trend that circulated on social media, adding that it was "sort of crazy". He also responded to a question from a member of the press, who asked how he "found out you were dead".
Trump said he had been "very active" over the weekend, referring to his posts on his Truth Social platform, and on Labor Day - a US holiday held this week on Monday. He has previously been spotted with what appeared to be make-up on the back of his hands - thought to be used to conceal his bruising.

In July, the White House confirmed Trump was suffering from a chronic venous insufficiency. The 79-year-old underwent a "comprehensive exam" including vascular testing after experiencing swelling in his legs, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said.
Leavitt added that Trump's bruised hand was consistent with "tissue damage from frequent handshaking" while taking aspirin, which she said is "part of a standard cardio-vascular prevention regimen".
During his Oval Office address, the US President announced his administration will take a ruling that his move to establish tariffs on foreign nations was illegal to the Supreme Court and declined to comment on a separate ruling that his move to deploy thousands of National Guard troops to California was illegal.
He also teased "very interesting things" when asked about any recent conversations with Russian President Putin.
