Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan's wife Sky Daily Hogan has said her heart is "in pieces" as she spoke out in a touching tribute following the death of the WWE star.
The 71 year old wrestling and TV icon died after suffering a cardiac arrest yesterday morning, weeks after concerns for his health began. Emergency services were called to his home in Florida, where he was worked on for around 30 minutes before being taken to hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced dead later that morning.
In the wake of the shocking news, Hollywood and wrestling stars have paid tribute to Hulk – real name Terry Gene Bollea – and a statement was issued to confirm the sad news last night.
Now, his widow Sky Daily Hogan, has taken to her Instagram page to share her shock and sadness over the "sudden loss", which she said is "impossible to process".

As she posted a photo of herself planting a sweet kiss on a smiling Hulk's cheek, she shared her heartache over the death of her beloved husband. She penned in the caption: "I wasn’t ready for this and my heart is in pieces.
"He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.
"This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.
"Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.
"He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.
"Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality."

Supporters soon took to the comments of the post to share messages of condolence. One wrote: "sending you much love!!! And thank you for helping him!" While another added: "I am so sorry Sky… We are going to miss him terribly".
"I’m so sorry for your loss, it was crystal clear how much he loved you. I wish you had more time too now you have an Angel watching over you", a third added.
Initial reports Hulk had died came in yesterday afternoon and claimed emergency vehicles were seen outside his house as operators were heard saying he had suffered a cardiac arrest, while TMZ reported that Hulk had been seen carried on a stretcher from his house.
It was later confirmed by police that emergency services recieved a call at 9.51am local time on Thursday morning, first responders were dispatched to his Clearwater, Florida home and medical staff arrived at 9.56am and police arrived at 10.23am.
Paramedics worked on the star before taking him to hospital at 10.32am before he was sadly pronounced dead at 11.17am.
The news was later confirmed by a statement shared on Hulk's Instagram page. It read: "It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we confirm we have lost a legend.
"Our beloved Terry Bollea, known worldwide as Hulk Hogan, passed away today surrounded by his loved ones.
"At this time of grief, we ask that everyone please respect the privacy of his family and friends.
"May we all take solace in the wonderful memories he left behind for the millions of fans worldwide whose lives he touched for more than four decades.
"He will be missed, but never forgotten."
Wrestling champion Hulk was married three times throughout his life. He was married to his first wife, Linda Hogan, from 1983 to 2009. He then wed makeup artist Jennifer McDaniel from 2011 to 2021. Hulk and Sky then tied the knot in 2023.
