The company belonging to Nigel Farage’s partner Laure Ferrari which sells his own brand of gin is being struck off with £11,000 debts, according to documents filed at Companies House.
It comes after the couple saved more than £44,000 in stamp dutywhen she bought his luxury £900,000 constituency home mortgage-free. Mr Farage said: “I haven’t lent money to anybody. I didn’t give her money. She comes from a very successful French family and she can afford it herself. It’s convenient, it works, and she loves it.”
Our investigation has dogged the Reform UK chief and his party for days, with deputy leader Richard Tice and Mr Farage repeatedly asked why he claimed to have bought a house in Clacton when on paper it was bought by Ms Ferrari.

The couple are believed to have been in a relationship since 2017. They launched Farage Gin, a range of spirits in red, white and blue colours costing £40 a bottle, in 2022.
Mr Farage has promoted the drink on his website but has never declared any income from the product since he became an MP last July. The Farage Gin link disappeared last autumn.

It was made in Cornwall but sold by a company called Baxter Laois Limited, based in Southend, Essex, with Ms Ferrari, 46, as sole director and shareholder. Documents filed at Companies House last month reveal that an accountancy firm where Baxter Laois is headquartered has applied to strike the company off.
The most recent accounts, up to October 2024, showed it had barely £1,000 in assets and owed £11,000.
Asked about the closure, Mr Farage said: “No instructions to close the company have been sent. Will examine tomorrow with Companies House. Spoken to the accountant too. He is none the wiser.”
Asked how much he or his partner made from selling the gin, he replied: “I only respond to those who act in good faith. You do not.”
