But Boden fans love the Holly Knitted Jacket in rich emerald and pink stripe, as one wrote: "It lifts so many items in my wardrobe. Easy to dress up or down and just love that it's all cotton. Boden, this is magic."

There are critics who didn't like the outerwear much and decided to return. A customer commented: "The usual size fit me well, and the colours were lovely, but the material was stiff and I couldn't pull the sleeves up. Also, it didn't look good undone as a traditional cardigan - only as a top."

A second didn't like the boxy cut, saying: "The style didn't suit me, too boxy/wide and the gap at the back was too much as it flopped about."
