Those who love their Oodie as much as I do will know how difficult it is to swap it for a normal, boring jumper when leaving the house. As comfy and cosy as an Oodie is, it's much too pyjama-y to wear out and about, but I think I might have found the ideal alternative that's just as comfortable but more appropriate for the outside world.
Weird Fish's Faye Cosy Longline Fleece Hoodie Beige is about as close as it gets to an Oodie in terms of comfort while still passing for a regular jumper. The £70 jumper is made from a super-soft fleece material, has a large hood and a kangaroo pocket, and is lovely and oversized.
It comes in sizes 8 to 22, making it great for a wide range of body types, and its beige colour means it goes with everything. It even has a quarter zip at the collar, so I can wear it zipped to the neck for extra cosiness, or zipped down for some breathability.

If the fleecy fabric isn't what shoppers are after in an outdoor hoodie, they could take a look at this Oversized Floral Graphic Hoodiefrom Hollister, which is discounted from £45.95 down to £28.99. There are two designs available, one in grey and one in ivory cream, and it goes from sizes XXS to XXL.
Or, those who haven't tried the classic Oodie (or just want another to add to their collection!) could take a look at this super-cute Avocado Print Oodie Original, which is now £45.50 down from £65. With a light green background and smiling avocados printed all over it, it is super warm and cosy for days spent snuggled on the sofa.
However, many other shoppers are also loving the Weird Fish hoodie. One said: "It will be perfect for winter, nice and cosy." Another added: "Adorable, cosy and warm. A hug in the cold."
A third wrote: "So warm, perfect for walking the dog at 5am. I like that it is long." However, some shoppers found it wasn't right for them. One said: "Lovely soft material and looks great! Arms are slightly short in length and the jumper isn't thick but very cosy!"
Another said: "Great snuggly oversized hoodie - lovely feel. Only slight niggle for me is the sleeves are not as generous as the rest of it, I found them a little short."
