When it comes to jewellery, investing in a statement piece is always a good idea - but that doesn't mean shoppers have to fork out hundreds of pounds to achieve the look. Take for example a stylish T-bar necklace at H Samuel that bears an uncanny resemblance to a designer version costing nearly six times the price.
The HS Edit Organic T-Bar Pendant Necklace is priced at £59.99, making it £280 cheaper than a similar piece from Tilly Sveaas, which sells between £340 and £360. It is also similar to a Missoma's Ridge T-Bar Chain Necklace (£139.99).
Like the other versions, the H Samuel necklace is adaptable in terms of styling options. It can be layered with other chains for a stacked look or worn alone as an everyday statement piece.
It features warm 18ct yellow gold plating, a timeless T-bar pendant, and a classic 16-inch rolo chain. In addition to the T-Bar necklace, matching earrings are also on offer.
The HS Edit T-Bar Hoop Earrings (£59.99) have the same 18ct yellow gold-plated finish and pendant, creating a chic, coordinated look. The T-bar necklace is part of H Samuel's latest collection, the HS Edit, which includes everything from sculptural earrings and chunky cuffs to layered necklaces, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Each item in the new line is crafted with sustainability in mind; all are produced in carbon-neutral factories, using recycled materials. For those shopping in a rush, the necklace (along with all other pieces) is available for next-day delivery.
This makes it perfect for shoppers in need of a last-minute gift or simply requiring a stylish piece for an upcoming event. H Samuel isn't the only popular brand to launch a new collection.
Monica Vinader, for instance, has revealed some stunning pieces, including this pair of Nura Gemstone Huggie Earrings (£89). Shoppers can select from three precious gems: green onyx, tiger's eye and turquoise.
Brighton-based brand Orelia, favoured by celebrities such as Cat Deeley and Kate Middleton, has also recently unveiled its new A/W collection. Its latest range, Upper East Side, includes everything from vintage-inspired chains to statement earrings and semi-precious charms, with prices starting from £25.
Returning to H Samuel, the necklace hasn't received any reviews yet. However, there is plenty of feedback via TrustPilot, with one shopper stating: "I bought a pair of earrings for my daughter from H Samuel and was very happy with my purchase."
They continued: "The quality is excellent, the design is beautiful, and she absolutely loves them. The service in-store was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I'm really pleased and would happily shop here again."
Another customer added: "After purchasing a wedding ring, I had an issue with the size of the ring due to its profile in shape. The staff in the store were great in reordering the correct size before our wedding day."
Several people mentioned difficulties using the website on iPhones. One individual specifically said: "Website is so hard to work with, it glitches a lot."
However, a H Samuel buyer commented: "This company is amazing, buying from here since day one, I've never had an issue with placing an order and no issue with the quality of their products they sell. Brilliant."
