developer NetEase has announced plans to bring back the Season 0 Battle Pass. To celebrate the anniversary of last year's closed alpha test, NetEase will give fans the opportunity to purchase the S0 Battle Pass for a limited time only.
In a post on the Rivals website, NetEase said that the Season 0 Battle Pass will be available to purchase from 10am BST UK time on May 15 until the same time on May 29. In terms of price, the Battle Pass costs 590 Lattice, which for PlayStation users, means spending £3.99 on 500 Lattice and an additional £0.79 on 100 Lattice.
According to NetEase, the Season 0 Battle Pass doesn't contain any free rewards, although on the plus side, there's no time limit to complete the pass and earn all of the rewards.
"Recently, our community has been buzzing with requests to bring back previous season passes - especially the one that started it all, S0 Battle Pass. Some of you missed out during that epic Season 0, while others who joined later have been eager for a chance to experience it."
"We've heard your call, and we're answering it! With that said, after the May 15th update, we're excited to announce a limited-time return of the S0 Battle Pass!"
Interestingly, NetEase has confirmed plans to bring back past season passes in the future.
"Future Battle Pass returns might occur, but any such plans will span at least two seasons and be priced at a minimum of 20% higher than the original seasonal rate."
The Season 0 Battle Pass contains cosmetics such as Black Panther' Galactic Claw costume, The Punisher's Thunderbolts skin and the God of Magic Dr. Strange variant.
That's on top of Hela's Empress of the Cosmos and the Mantis Galactic Wings skin.
In addition to the Season 0 Battle Pass, NetEase will also launch the Galacta's Gift event on May 15.
The new event will give players the chance to unlock Nameplates, Sprays, and Chrono Shield Cards, as well as a Costume Coin for a past outfit.
Players will be able to unlock the rewards simply by playing the game.
