Actor Sahil Phull, a native of Jammu, has expressed deep grief and concern following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The attack, which took place on April 22, 2025, targeted a popular tourist meadow, disrupting the region’s growing tourism industry and raising serious security concerns.
Sahil, whose family resides in Jammu, shared his anguish over the tragic incident. “Just a few days ago, my friends from Mumbai asked me if it was safe to plan a trip to Kashmir. I told them it’s all safe and encouraged them to go. But after this, I don’t know what to tell them. Incidents like these only add to the fear and concern for safety,” he said.
The actor added, “My family stays in Jammu, and even though they are in a relatively safe area, I get scared and constantly worry about them. My sister is a professor and they’ve been given a holiday owing to the situation. I have so many memories of growing up in Jammu and Kashmir, and it’s truly heartbreaking to see such violence unfold there. I sincerely hope stern action is taken against those responsible for this heinous act.”
