Australian men's team fast bowler Mitchell Starc was present at DY Patil Stadium to support his wife Alyssa Healy during the 2025 Women's ODI World Cup semifinal between Australia and India on Thursday.

Starc has consistently attended Healy's knockout matches when not playing himself.

Starc recently participated in a three-match ODI series against India, claiming three wickets across the games. Having retired from T20 internationals, his next cricket commitment is the Ashes series, beginning November 21 at the Optus Stadium.

Starc and Healy's relationship spans over a decade, with their engagement followed by marriage in April 2016.

They are among only three married couples to have played Test cricket, following England's Roger and Ruth Prideaux (1950s-1970) and Sri Lanka's Guy and Rasanjali de Alwis (1980s-1990s).

In March 2020, Starc demonstrated his commitment by leaving early from South Africa, missing the final ODI to watch Healy compete in the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup final.

In the current semifinal match, Healy's innings was cut short when she was dismissed for five runs off 15 balls. Young bowler Kranti Gaud delivered an inswinger that Healy played onto her stumps.
