Huawei Nova Y73 to Launch Internationally Following Enjoy 80’s Success in China

Huawei is preparing to launch the Nova Y73 globally, following the successful release of the Enjoy 80 in China earlier this month. According to recent reports from Russia, the Nova Y73 will retain the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart, notably featuring the aging 12nm Kirin 710 chipset, which first debuted over six years ago.

Huawei Nova Y73: Specifications and Features

The Huawei Nova Y73 will be available with 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The 512GB storage variant, however, will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. Additionally, while the Enjoy 80 offers a range of vibrant finishes, the global variant will be restricted to Light Blue and Black color options, leaving out the popular White-Gold and Green Leather finishes seen in China.

The device is expected to feature:

  • Display: 6.67-inch LCD panel

  • Processor: Kirin 710 chipset

  • Rear Camera: 50MP main sensor

  • Battery: 6,620mAh capacity with 40W fast charging support

Although the Russian listing mentioned the Nova Y73 running EMUI 12 based on Android 15, this appears to be an error. Industry insiders confirm the device will ship with EMUI 15 based on Android 12.

Huawei Nova Y73: Pricing and Availability

The Huawei Nova Y73 is reported to be priced at:

  • RUB 16,999 (approximately $205/ €180) for the 128GB model

  • RUB 18,999 (approximately $230/ €200) for the 256GB model

It remains to be seen whether these prices will be consistent across other international markets or if Huawei will offer regional adjustments.

Despite featuring an older chipset, the Huawei Nova Y73 could appeal to budget-conscious consumers seeking a large battery, fast charging, and a reliable camera setup. More official details regarding availability and exact market pricing are expected in the coming weeks.
